Making ultra pure freshwater from seawater

Customers who have the ability to use heat from an engine or steam from a boiler that is being manufactured as a byproduct (i.e. engine cooling water or bleed steam returning to the condenser) or the application requires water quality that must meet ultra pure standards should think “evaporator”.

Making water that is 2 ppm purity and below is essential to steam plant applications and Case M&I has over 15 years of experience in engineering, installation and service to new and existing units.

Field service and support is essential to proper operation to these machines due to their seawater application. Case M&I specializes in the repair, retubing and copper nickel welding of existing watermakers.

 

The need to separate different liquid phases and solids from each other is part of practically every industrial process. Westfalia manufactures machines to meet this requirement using either decanter or disc stack centrifuge technology, and their products perform this crucial function exceptionally well. These products are used for many different functions in the food and other process industries, on board ships to purify fuel and lubricating oil, on oil platforms to separate oil and water, in manufacturing industry to clean industrial fluids, and for industrial and municipal sewage treatment

CC Jensen produces a complete line of self contained filter/separator units for off-line filtration applications.

In all BOLL automatic filters, the filter candles, wedge wire candles or wire mesh candles are automatically cleaned by backflushing, without interrupting operation. This may depend on differential pressure or time, and be carried out using the plant’s own medium, compressed-air-supported own medium or external medium.
